anotHERVIEWture AWARD 2026

With the third edition of the award, the Austrian Federal Chamber of Architects and Chartered Engineering Consultants is once again sending a strong message in support of equality and innovation in the built environment – in Austria, Europe and beyond.

A total of 126 female architects and engineers from 24 countries took part. The international award recognises outstanding projects by women in the fields of architecture and engineering. More than 300 projects were submitted across four categories, showcasing the diversity, quality and innovative strength of contemporary planning and building culture.

• Category I: Female Architect of the Year – 34 participants
• Category II: Emerging Female Architect of the Year – 18 participants
• Category III: National / International Female Engineering Achievement of the Year – 31 participants
• Category IV: International Female Architect of the Year – 43 participants

All submitted projects are publicly available via our online platform. Discover inspiring work from around the world and be inspired by the diverse range of ideas and perspectives.

AWARD CEREMONY

The winners and the shortlist will be announced at the award ceremony, which will take place on October 22, 2026 from 5.00 pm at the Architekturzentrum Wien.
