Female Architect of the Year
Category I
„Female Architect of the Year“ is intended to honour the work of Austrian female architects.
Three realized and built projects must be submitted.
Emerging Female Architect of the Year
Category II
„Emerging Female Architect of the Year“ is intended to honour the work of Austrian female architects under 40 years of age at the time of the deadline for submission.
Three projects must be submitted: one of them realized and built, two can be planned or competition contributions.
National/International Female Engineering Achievement of the Year
Category III
The „National/International Female Achievement of the Year“ honours solutions that have been achieved using methods or processes in the respective technical field and are characterized by:
- Innovation and/or
- Complexity of the planning task solved and/or
- Outstanding design
One realized project must be submitted considering aspects, such as functionality, innovation, rationality, and ecology.
International Female Architect of the Year
Category IV
„International Female Architect of the Year“ is intended to honour female architects registered in countries other than Austria.
Three realized and built projects must be submitted.
Required information per project:
- project description: max. 300 words
- max 6 .jpg-files (photos or plans, max. data 10MB each, resolution 600/600)
- photo credits / copyright
- planning partners
- client
Who can apply?
Austrian Architects and Engineering Consultants
Category I-III
Every female architect or engineering consultant Member of the Austrian Federal Chamber of Architects and Chartered Engineering Consultants (active, inactive or extraordinary) is welcome to apply for categories I to III.
International Architects and Engineering Consultants
Category III-IV
Female chartered engineering consultants registered in countries other than Austria are also invited to apply for category III and female architects registered in countries other than Austria are invited to apply for category IV.
